Ecoideas is a leading manufacturer and distributor of natural health products to retailers across Canada. Ecoideas has a unique selection of products in the categories of: Organic health food, raw food, high quality dietary supplements, the purest enviro-friendly cleaning products, and natural body care products.
Ecoideas intends to restructure its business and financial affairs. As such, a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (“NOIs”) was filed in respect of the Ecoideas on March 31, 2026 (“NOI Filing”) pursuant to subsection 50.4 (1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended (the “BIA”) and Dodick Landau Inc. was named Proposal Trustee. Pursuant to the provisions of subsection 69 (1) of the BIA a stay of proceedings has been initiated and all proceedings against Ecoideas are stayed as of the date of filing of the NOI.
On May 28, 2026 The Court approved a stalking horse sale and investment solicitation process (“SISP”) with a bid deadline of June 26, 2026. Below is a copy of the Court’s order and SISP (schedule “A” to the order). Under the sales process heading below is a teaser and a confidentiality agreement. Parties interested in participating in the sales process are required to sign the confidentiality agreement and return it to Naomi Lieberman (naomi.lieberman@dodick.ca) of the office of the Proposal Trustee in order to be let into an online data room and carry out due diligence.
