Sam Kotzer Limited (“Samko”) was a brand name toy retailer with retail locations in Richmond Hill and Cookstown, Ontario. Samko was in operation for over 50 years selling educational toys, books, games, crafts, etc… Samko filed an assignment in bankruptcy on March 22, 2024 under the provisions of section 49 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. Dodick Landau Inc. was appointed Trustee in Bankruptcy in this proceeding. A meeting of the creditors will be held on April 15, 2024 at 11:00a.m. by zoom videoconference.
