On March 26, 2025 (the “Date of Filing”), pursuant to section 62(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, Ayacon Limited filed with the Official Receiver a proposal to its creditors and named Dodick Landau Inc. as Proposal Trustee.
Ayacon is a third-party contractor retained by IKEA to instal IKEA kitchens in customers’ homes. Challenges faced by the Company include an economic dependence on IKEA and an inability to expand its business resulting in an unstable flow of work.
