Dodick & Associates is the corporate services division of our firm which provides financial restructuring and insolvency advisory services to companies, lenders, creditors, and other stakeholders in troubled or potentially troubled credit situations. Our services are provided in the context of early interventions, strategic financial advice, out-of-court restructurings, and formal restructuring, receivership and bankruptcy proceedings. Our formal roles may include acting as Receiver, Proposal Trustee, Monitor or Trustee in Bankruptcy over the debtor company. In addition, as part of our advisory services, we assist in distressed mergers and acquisitions and capital sourcing.

Our Team
Rahn Dodick, CPA, CA, CIRP, LIT | President
Rahn advises on all aspects of corporate insolvency and restructuring, whether informally as a financial advisor, or formally under the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act, Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and Courts of Justice Act.
Rahn has over 27 years of experience carrying out Canadian and cross-border financial advisory, restructuring, and liquidation assignments on behalf of debtors, creditors, shareholders and various other stakeholders, including assisting debtor companies in the development and implementation of strategic alternatives, performing business plan and critical supplier reviews, and acting for lenders in the enforcement of their security. Prior to founding Dodick & Associates, Rahn was a Vice-President at Ernst & Young’s Canadian restructuring group for 12 years.
Rahn is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Rahn is a board member of the Anne and Max Tanenbaum Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto (CHAT), a not-for-profit community Jewish High School in the Greater Toronto area, and the largest in North America.
In addition, Rahn is a past-board member and treasurer of Fighting Blindness Canada, a not-for-profit organization that raises funds for retinal research primarily through major gift donations and fundraising events which take place in cities across Canada.
Rahn is also a proud husband and father of three, enjoys to play soccer, hockey, reading and movies.

Howard Landau, CIRP, LIT | Partner
Howard leads the consumer insolvency practice, Dodick Landau.
Howard has been a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) since 1996, which he obtained after spending five years working at the Office of the Superintendent in Bankruptcy, the federal regulator of Canada’s insolvency and restructuring regime.
Before co-founding the consumer insolvency practice of Dodick Landau, Howard spent twelve years as a Trustee and partner at another insolvency firm where his focus was consumer debtor work in the Greater Toronto Area.
Howard’s strengths are in helping consumers deal with personal income tax debt and other government debt, and has spent a considerable amount of time in Bankruptcy Court in matters involving the Canada Revenue Agency, as well as other major creditors.
Howard is also a proud husband and father of two, and spends as much time as he can with his family when not playing hockey, reading French books or playing guitar, his other passions in life.
