Canada Tobacco & Global Inc. was a wholesaler of cigarettes which it distributed to retailers accross Ontario. On July 31, 2014 an application was made by Myunsu You for an order that Canada Tobacco & Global Inc. be adjudged bankrupt. On August 19, 2014 the Superior Court of Justice made a bankruptcy order (“Bankruptcy Order”) against Canada Tobacco & Global Inc. and Dodick Landau Inc. was appointed Trustee in Bankruptcy. Pursuant to the Bankruptcy Order, a stay of proceedings has been initiated and all proceedings against Canada Tobacco & Global Inc. are stayed as of the date of filing of the Bankruptcy Order.
