Greencore Composites Inc. (“Greencore”) produced natural fibre reinforced thermoplastic compounded resins used by injection molders, profile extruders, and other plastic processes in automotive, consumer, and other industrial products. Effective April 25, 2018, Growthworks Commercialization Fund Ltd., Wayne Meddever and Ian Inch, appointed Dodick Landau Inc. pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act as receiver (in such capacity, the “Receiver”) of all of the assets, undertakings and properties of Greencore. The Receiver has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of Greencore to Domtar Inc. and is seeking the Court’s approval of the sale on February 29, 2018.
